A sunrise, fresh off the press.
It has been a while since I've seen a sunrise. The usual weather routine here is either clouds from sunrise to sunset or clouds during sunrise and sunset with a good try at blue skies during the day.
I've been missing them.
This morning The Esplanade had a bit of surprise for those down in the sand.
I think they were jelly fish washed up on the sand. They were along the whole shoreline, well as far as I went.
I am really drawing a blank today. Maybe my brain has fallen asleep or maybe there just isn't all that much to share.
Work has changed the hours on us, we'll all be starting an hour later and working until midnight by after Easter. It isn't a change we are embracing happily. I think a few will be leaving. I have started applying for jobs again, not that I wasn't doing that already. I realised I have pretty much been applying for jobs on and off for over three years. I am heartily sick and tired of it. Our meeting with management and then private discussions made us realise that we are just numbers, just hours in the end, nothing more nothing less. Why do we have to keep relearning that lesson?
Our weekend was a quiet one. Mr Sparky was on call so no adventuring like we really wanted to do. Instead we adventured in Master's and Bunnings and spent way too much time with the t.v on. As I said, nothing much to report here.
The days are getting shorter, the sun is rising noticably earlier now. We are still waiting for the overnight change in temperatures though. Mr Sparky has taken to checking the weather predictions and telling me that such and such a day it is supposed to cool down. It is never right. In some ways we don't want the cool change, instead we want the wet season rain. Where are you at, wet season? Okay, so I'll give it some credit for trying over the last couple of weeks. At least there has been enough to green everything up.
You see in the north there are really only two seasons and someone I was talking to the other day put it just right. There is hot and wet and hot and dry. We are still waiting on the really wet part that should be happening now and over the last couple of months. It has been dragging its feet a bit. They are saying there is a moderate chance of a cyclone but we will see.
In good news I've had some interviews lined up for this and that. Hopefully something pans out well. Fingers crossed.
Also in other good news, I now get to wait less than two weeks for my Easter visitors. Yay!
So instead of blabbing on for the rest of this post, about Bunnings sausages, washing, a bathroom I still haven't cleaned among other such things, I'm going to leave you to relax with my sunrise wander.
Here is to a good week!
Wow,so many beautiful views and details (and you say you don't have much to share:):) ) As an artist I always go for the unusual, so my favorites are the jelly fish and the shells! Although the sunrise images are stunning! Hope you can find your way through and enjoy this week - and thank you so much in participating in Seasons - it's much appreciated!
