Sunday morning I watered the garden, usually this is an evening ritual but the last two evenings had been a bit busy meaning the poor garden missed out.
So there I was spraying water over everything, giving it a good soaking and looking around the place. The scene is set.
"Mr Sparky?! Can you grab my camera?'
"What?"
"Can you bring me my camera?"
And like a wonderful Mr Sparky, he did.
Unfortunately I couldn't do any circling to avoid branches.
What started off as a party of three, became a party of two.
Then suddenly it became a party of four with laughter and more.
Then, once again, the tree was bare.
I loved seeing my blue wing kookaburra visitors whom I haven't seen for a while. Maybe after wet season they will be back a bit more.
I can't imagine having these in my yard! Great shots!
ReplyDeleteI know, super lucky. Thanks.
DeleteSplendid birds - I saw one on my first ever day in Australia and I still get excited when I see them 20 year later!
ReplyDeleteCrazy birds.
Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
Even after seeing them while growing up, I still get excited. They look so funny in a handsome way.
DeleteBirds.... they do their best to make it impossible to see all of them... maybe next time...but, what fun to have them around...
ReplyDeleteI know, what is with that. I just like knowing they are around.
DeleteWhat fun to have kookaburra come to visit! Great shots of them!
ReplyDeleteIt is, I love visits from these funny fellows. Thanks!
DeleteYou are SO lucky. I love kookaburras, but never see them here :)
ReplyDeleteI know I am. I love seeing them around. Interesting to know that they don't hang out there.
