Footprints in the Sand

I had plans to apologise for misleading you all on the lack of Autumn. To tell you that the weather had cooled and become a lot more comfortable. To let you know that we have stopped using the air conditioning at night because we can sleep well with a cooler night. That was Wednesday.

Well I changed my mind.
I changed it on Thursday morning.
Summer it still is. Summer and less Summer is the weather we have.

Summer clothes are what I am stocking up on as the shops still think we need a full stock of winter clothing to wear. Summer clothes are what I'm needing to get me through Autumn, Winter and Spring when they will reappear in full force in the shops. Does anyone else find the lack of Summer clothes in shops in the tropics during our Summer like Winter just a bit strange?

Other than being fooled by the weather, on Wednesday I headed to Yorkeys Knob (chuckle away).

I had gone with hopes of finding those Black Cockatoos again but there wasn't one in sight.

So instead I kept myself happy snapping waves hitting the rocks of the Knob

and taking pictures of the ocean.

The clouds caught my eye with rain falling over the sea.

Also all the bits and bobs washed up along the tide lines caught my attention.

I honestly have no idea what else to write. I am back to being fuzzy brained and sleep is on the menu today, sometime.

So because my brain is mush, my eyes need tooth picks and I am lacking in writing creativity I'm just going to leave you with the rest of the way to many beach photos.

I hope you enjoy looking at waves washing the shore, see rain falling on sea and mountains, watching clouds change, seeing what is on the sand and dreaming that those are your foot prints in the sand.

Meanwhile I'm going to consider heading back to bed, now that it is a bit after 8am, and think about turning on the air con so I do sleep rather than wake up hot as well as way too early and in need of a trip to the beach to cool off.

  2. I know what you mean. It's suppose to be fall (autumn) but I'm still in shorts--which is unusual for me in any season! Your photos are really great and I hope you got a good nap!
